Lewis Hamilton, who has won a record 103 Formula One grand prix and seven world championships, stated on Sunday that he had never come across a car as rapid as Max Verstappen's Red Bull.
Verstappen, who started from the 15th position on the grid, overtook the Mercedes driver and finished second in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, which was won by Red Bull's Sergio Perez. This marks the second one-two victory for Red Bull in two consecutive races this season, and they have only missed the fastest lap bonus point in Bahrain.
Hamilton finished fifth in the race and told reporters that Verstappen's car was the fastest he had ever seen, especially when compared to the other vehicles on the track. He was taken aback by the immense speed at which Verstappen passed him, as he had never witnessed anything like it before.
