Signature Bank, a New York-based full-service commercial bank, was known to be crypto-friendly. In fact, Signature Bank launched its own blockchain-based digital payment platform called Signet in 2018, which allows its clients to make real-time payments in U.S. dollars 24/7, including on weekends and holidays.
According to Cointelegraph news, New York-based Signature Bank, has officially closed down and is being taken over by the New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS).
